After disbanding The Holy Fire and Leaving Rouge in the summer of 2006, SMH wrote and recorded The Liquor Witch in a matter of weeks, just prior to moving to Brooklyn, NY.
The album was released in 2007 as a joint endeavor between Portland's Greyday Recordings and Down Peninsula Audio.
